Viking Life-Saving Equipment has recently won a contract to build and supply a new high-speed patrol boat for the Norwegian Police
The 12m patrol boat will be built in Arendal (Norway) and delivered later this year, the boat will carry out police patrol and rescue operations in the Norwegian East Police District stretching over 38 municipalities from north of Oslo to the Swedish west coast border.
The boat will be fitted with twin Iveco FPT (372kW each) engines with twin waterjets. Seating will be supplied by Ullman Dynamics while the navigation and communications suite will be sourced from Raymarine and Jatronic.
